Everyone's favorite earbuds got a few fresh upgrades — and you can now pre-order them through Amazon, Best Buy, and Apple. The official launch date of the new AirPods Pro isn't until Sept. 23, though, so don't expect to receive them before then.

Admittedly, we were expecting a bit more for the new generation of the AirPods Pro, but Apple has still blessed us with improved spatial audio, a longer six-hour battery life, and a more responsive H2 chip that will improve sound quality and noise cancellation performance.

The new AirPods Pro will also come with an additional pair of extra-small ear tips for a tighter fit, and will feature an "adaptive transparency mode" which speedily decreases loud noises during listening, while still keeping you aware of important sounds. You'll also be able to customize them with a memoji, if that's your thing.
